"Uh gand (I can't)," said Turnkey, turning his head slightly, so he could see Sil. "Uh dond doe eddy heathing majig (I don't know any healing magic)." He had never had a need to learn any healing magic, considering he had either Kai, Tundra, or an easily accessible hospital at any given time. Then again, he had never been kicked in the face before, either.
He thought about what to do. He wasn't his brother; he had never broken a single bone in his body before this. He hadn't needed to learn how to heal himself out of pure necessity. Then again, he was glad that he wasn't his brother, because the event that made such knowledge a necessity left Kai with an insufficient set of reproductive organs, And Usu was pleased to have his intact.
He decided that the best course of action was to ask somepony who knew. Namely, a doctor. The hospital wasn't too far away, but they still needed to do some walking to get there, and Usu was still very sore from hitting the floor too hard. Still, he could stand now, and soon, he would be capable of walking. But it was time now to try to stop the dripping of his face.
"Unm guudduh deed sub tabullth (I'm gonna need some towels)," Usu said, pulling himself to all four hooves. "Ned we deed to goh to duh hospithal (Then we need to go to the hospital).

Sil's spirits fell when Turnkey couldn't be healed with any magic he could do himself, then were ground into the dirt at the the mention of the hospital. He'd been in one once before when he needed a physical exam to be allowed into classes at the Cloudsdale Academy, and he'd left his eyes squeezed tight most of the time, allowing Lunar Mist to guide him through the halls. He left with an all-clear from the doctor after a very short appointment, and had never been back since.
It wasn't too far from the house, just a short walk down the street and a couple of turns, but with Key's nose bleeding as it was, Sil didn't know if he could get over on his own. Well, they would cross that bride when they came to it.
Sil handed his friend a towel from the kit that was just off-white, as a result of previous use and washing, to cease the crimson flow from his snout.
"Do y-you think you can walk there?" he tentatively asked the unicorn.

Though he didn't mean to be, Usu was completely oblivious to Sil's thoughts on going to the hospital. This selfish temperament was brought on by his broken nose, which was sending surging pain through his head. If he had the capacity to draw his attention away from his pain long enough to look at Sil, or even to read the inflection of his voice, he would understand that Sil probably didn't want to go to the hospital, and that Usu could find another pony to escort him. Still, he needed somepony with him.
"Yuh. Ath log ath you gan maig zure uh dohn die on duh way dere (Yeah. As long as you can make sure I don't die on the way there)," said Usu through his missing teeth and broken nose, taking the rag from Sil. As he wiped down and covered the gaping hole in his face (the one that wasn't his moth), his hoof brushed by the scar from last night. The idea that Kai could help him suddenly came to mind, but was disbanded at the realization that he had no idea where his younger brother was. "Ruthy whenebur you awe (Ready whenever you are)," he said, as he limped toward the door.
[Don't worry too much about Sil, he can wait outside the door. Should we move this to Darvil, considering that's where the hospital is? Or do you want to run into Kai for no explained reason other than to keep Sil from plunging into certain chaos too early? I can temporarily bubble Kai, if you want, I would just need an excuse to leave Whisp by noon, other than the part where Kai runs into Usu on the street in order to give him the string of lights and Sil's dagger in the first place.]

Sil almost smiled at Key's request to keep him from dying along the way, but he merely nodded and made a mental promise to avoid harming a friend as such once again. Once was a mistake, but twice was foolhardy. He pulled the key from the side pocket on his sheath and unlocked the door with a resounding *click*.
Sil gave the door a shove, and it creaked open, letting a rushing cool breeze flow through his mane and into the house. The breeze brought with it the warmth of the day and peace of the land, but held with it an ominous undertone that the young pegasus could only just detect. While a great deal of nice and fluffy feelings flowed in with the air, it held neither the songs of birds nor the rustling of leaves. Something was brewing, but the feeling that it was so faint that it must be from farther off.
Sil left his abode through the door and into the moon-stifled sunlight. He extended a hoof to key and gave as much of a reassuring smile as he could, even if the butterflies battering his stomach told him otherwise. "Let's go and get you patched up as soon as we can."
[to Darvil, would you mind beginning?]
