Twilight swallowed her last bite of toast. The idea that she was keeping Roo from performing a task assigned to him by the princess herself disturbed her.
"I'm sorry. Had I known I was distracting you from something more important, I would've had Spike make me breakfast, and come back later," she said, trying to look sincerely apologetic.

Roo chuckled. “Not distracting at all, and who’s to say the other mare is more important than you? She’ll arrive when she arrives, and I’ll find her when I do. I did say the first part of my project here was to help you, did I not?"
Of course Roo was antsy to find his great, great grandmother, but he’d only just arrived himself and doubted she had already come through the Rift. He knew there was time yet before Eclipse truly showed herself to the ponies of Whinnyopolis – Kailani might not arrive until the False Queen did.
“Finish your breakfast, and we’ll search my library for the knowledge you seek.”
Roo continued to sip his coffee, relaxed. After five hundred years of life, one learned there was always time to take a moment and not be rushed.

Twilight was a bit uncomfortable, as she still thought she was interrupting something important. She could comprehend that this situation was bigger than her, and she was glad to accept help, but there were other ponies involved that needed an assist, as well.
Still, she finished her breakfast, and floated her dirty dishes to the sink, before going back to browsing the selection of books.
