If I may, I'm almost at par with Twi. The first episode to air after I got involved was "May the Best Pet Win" (G4, in case there are some out there that are mostly old-school) I've since kept up to date with every episode, and I even violate my circadian rhythm on Saturdays just to watch the episodes. Like medication, they are, in that they keep my from destroying whatever is convenient (I was a very violent person before Ponies). I still go out to beat people to a pulp from time to time, but I crave it less now.
Wow, that was a little bit more than I wanted to say.

Well, yeah, but they're still from different worlds/backgrounds, which I wouldn't know anything about and don't feel up to researching. I suppose my best bet would be to claim a minor background character from FiM and work with them, if I wanted another character... though I'm still not sure I do want another; I might have enough to manage just sticking with Twi.

Yus ... well I can see how that would be confusing for you. And claiming a toy/background G4 would leave you out of the option to play a Rift pony. You could grab a G2 pony since they don't have a show and no world to call canon. The Eventide canon merely says that they are alien and live in "Friendship Gardens". :/ But nonetheless, I'll be waiting for your post. Whenever you feel up to it. Kiernan: That hardly sounds healthy. Do you need someone to talk to?

You can find all of the G1 and G3 history that ties into Eventide at the old C03 game here: c03inc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=info (you don't have to read the Course history, as that was for a specific part of the game that doesn't play a part here) Or if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. I'm the Ponyland Historian around these parts. If I don't know it, I'll make it up (I've moved whole oceans before!)

Need someone to talk to about what? My circadian rhythm? My destructive tendencies that are quelled by two fictional characters voiced by Andrea Libman? My willingness to step into an arena to fight against some guy I've never met every week or so?
I'll assume it's the last one, because the other two are less important. No, I'm off of it for a few months while I finish culinary school. When I go back home, I'll get back into it, but by then, I expect to be rusty enough for someone to stand a chance against me. Plus, we don't kill each other. Worst case scenario, we walk away with a broken limb, unless it's a leg, in which case we have someone carry us. It's all just good fun for everyone involved. Why else would we come back?

Well, I wasn't suggesting any topic in particular. It did sound like something was bothering you, though. I do recognize the behaviour of telling about your private life, even when stating to do so reluctantly. In myself.
But that's a-okay. No offence. While I can't ignore people acting like they have problems, I do leave it to you to seek guidance. So, um, just letting you know, I'm listening.

Uh... forgive me for the absence, and for having absolutely no clue where I stand with things here at all. I was just... putting off visiting this site due to my horribly low pony muse... I noticed that I seem to have lost my character by now, haven't I?
Maybe it's better if I just leave. My pony muse isn't comming back anytime soon, and I'm not sure I feel as though I belong on this site anyway.

You haven't lost her, Nightbow just NPCed her to get the post moving. If you do feel like leaving for now, we'll open her back up to auditions. If no one's scooped her up and you return you're welcome to have her back, since you've already proven you can play her well. Plus, Twi and Roo are going to get along SO WELL. If you want to skip to the next morning when he shows up at the Library I'll be more than happy to play with you Maybe it's just the lagging storyline that's got your muse down.

I dunno... I don't want to leave, really, but I feel like I'm just slowing everything down... and it's nothing to do with the site that's sapping my pony muse, it's more just a lack of interest in the show in general. If I'm completely honest, the season 2 finale would be what was mainly responsible for killing my interest in the whole thing - I just really disliked that episode. Well, that, and if I may be perfectly honest, it's harder for me to motivate myself to try and keep up when none of my closer friends are on this site anymore. I feel like most of you know each other, and I'm just the 'extra guy' who didn't leave when everyone else who came over from DWoW did How much have I missed with Twi anyway? Is it just the one post I saw in Facade, or has she been in more threads since I vanished? ^^;;; Maybe I just shouldn't have such a major character. I do enjoy writing for Twi, and after starting her on here I'm reluctant to let her go, but with my muse as unpredictable and messed up as it is... I dunno, possibly if I dropped her in favour of a less important character so as not to hold things up anymore? I don't know, I really don't know.

It was only the one post so far, and I don't think anyone's ahead of that post in-game yet, so you're actually not behind at all. Have you tried watching the new season, or did the finale kill it for you completely? Maybe go back and watch some of your favorite episodes to get that spark back? I have big plans for Discord and the Elements, so maybe watching the episodes with those would help kick your muse in the pants And if it makes you feel better, Nightbow's the only one I know from past games (well, and Arulin, but if you've read his posts you know how we feel about each other ). If you want to pick up an OC or background character for a bit Nightbow and I can NPC Twilight until you've made up your mind.

I'm not sure. I haven't really felt much motivation to watch Season 3 at all, and the one I did try watching (the Wonderbolt Academy one), I wasn't overly impressed with either. Then again, I'm just not a big fan of Rainbow Dash so maybe that episode wasn't my best choice XD;;; I might try watching more of Season 3, or some of the previous seasons again, see if that can restore my muse some.
And... I'll give playing Twi another shot, I think - if I'm still allowed? - and see what comes of that. Would I just carry on from Nightbow's post as her, or would it make more sense if I let her finish that thread now, or what?

I think since Nightbow only took her over for the single post, you're fine to take it up from there. If you'd rather let her finish, we can bubble time (this once - I really can't stand bubble time RPs) and start the next morning in the Library when Roo arrives from Canterlot. In fact, I'll go ahead and start a post for Roo, and you can join in whenever you're ready.
(Bubble time means the same character can be in more than one thread at once, as long as the time-bubbles of the two threads don't overlap. It gets confusing really easily if it's allowed all over the RP).

Good to hear from you again Twi! I hope you were'nt put off when you found my NPC post (posted last night actually) for Twilight Sparkle. It is by no means a sign that we don't want you here! I'm positive that all of us will be satisfied to see the end of Facade, which has really been dragging on. Much is going on around Twilight right now, but I hope I'm right when I say that things will slow down. At least for now.
As for Facade, Twilight is not actually needed for any further posting. We're just about to wrap things up, and Twilight will be present to hear the prophecy, but other than that you and Becka are welcome to start anew in a thread in the library.
To be absolutely honest I'm not exactly thrilled about the new episodes of FiM either, while I still watch them among other online series. But the main source for my inspiration comes from the memorable episodes and character of the 80's, along with my own 'epic adventures' in Ponyland (counting play with both toys and in C03). I hope that you too will find a way to draw energy and willingness to play from your personal positive memories, leave whatever disappointment that ails you behind, and look upon Eventide as a fresh and fun experience.
In any case, you're always welcome here!
Edit: On the note of Bubble time I'm not against it, but since we don't want to move the timeline too fast along (or mess up the timeline, for that matter) I personally prefer finishing one thread before starting another.

I agree. Bubble time is somewhat painful to do, especially when you've got some kind of injury. I.E., if I had posted as Usutora doing something after A Game at Dinner, he probably wouldn't have a bandage wrapped around his face, and then I'd have to fix the posts in A Game at Dinner that show that he is wearing a bandage to read that he's not, and, in fact, never got hit by a stray thrown knife in some kind of accident. And that means that that wonderful little plot twist never happened. And a lack of things happening is boring. So I try to stay away from bubble-time.
