"Yeah, d-doesn't everypony?" Silent Storm said , slightly confused as to the request, "If y-you go into my b-bedroom, there's some paper in the bottom drawer and qu-quills in the top of the bedside table... c-cabinet... thing."
It occurred to Sil that he didn't actually know the proper name for that particular piece of furniture, but shrugged it off and pointed a hoof in the direction of the staircase. He downed the remainder of his glass of tea, and promptly poured himself another, adding a slice of lemon that was floating in the pitcher to the rim of his glass.
Sil reclined on the couch. It had been a long few days, and he didn't mind taking a bit of a respite to relax and rejuvenate.

Usu retreated upstairs, and into the bedroom. Just as it had been earlier that day. He found the nightstand, and drew out the paper and quill. He even grabbed an inkwell.
Tun, do you know anything about removing bloodstain?
He folded the paper in half, and it disappeared in a flash of light. A few moments later, another flash, and the paper fell to the floor. He picked it up, and unfolded it. The contrasting blue ink under the black ink of the original message read:
Bloodstain is dead. He's as removed as he can be, at this point.
Usu was a bit puzzled at this. Then, rereading his original message, he noticed a typo.
I meant to say bloodstains, not Bloodstain...
I know. I was being facetious.
Just answer the question.
Yes, I know how to remove them. Bloodstain was notorious for leaving them all over the houses we hit, if anypony noticed us. What kind of surface?
Finally, he was getting somewhere.
It's hardwood flooring. Can you do it?
Easily. At your location?
Yeah.
Okay. First thing tomorrow, I'll get right on it.
You can't do it tonight? It's an hour before Kai's party.
Do I have to?
The paper was now full, so he changed it out with a clean sheet.
Yes. Because I said so.
Fine. But I'm not entering the building until you leave.
Look at it this way: You'll arrive fashionably late.
Oh, blow it out your...
He stopped reading it at that point. He crumpled up the paper, and tossed them into the wastebasket before going back downstairs to find Sil relaxing on the couch. After picking up his glass of tea and topping it off, he picked out several garlic and rye chips and sat down next to him.
"I found someone to do it," he said, relaxing himself. "By the time you come back into this house, your floor will be immaculate."

Silent Storm grabbed a hoofful of snack mix and munched it, nodding in approval of Turnkey's update. He swallowed the salty crunchiness then took a sip from his glass.
"That's r-really great, Key!" Sil said, "So, can w-we go over t-to Mister A-Akaitora's house soon? I kinda want to get going."
The peg stood up after placing his glass back upon the table and went back to the kitchen to return the plate of biscuits.

Usu leaned forward until he wasn't slouching anymore. "I suppose it would be in our best interest to leave now. The sooner we leave, the sooner that stain leaves." He hopped up onto his hooves, levitating the drink into the air and following his host to the kitchen. The pitcher, still half-full, he placed in the icebox, the rest made it's way to the counter. A quick pop of joints later, he gave a smirk. "Ready whenever you are."

"W-well then..." Silent Storm said as he rose, "Let's go!"
Sil pushed open the front door and plodded out, already excited for the times soon to come.
I wonder what parties are like? the colt wondered.
