The n00blets guide to Eventide
1. start of by familiarizing yourself with the game. It is recommended that you read the threads on the ‘mane’ board.
Equestria History will teach you how Equestria came to be, and how the G4 universe is tied to the other generations.
Game rules dictates what you may and may not do.
Story Arc tells you of the current arc.
Have a look around the game itself, see how it feels. If you have any questions, they can be posted on the questions and suggestions board. Feel free to introduce yourself!
2. Pick a character and apply. Check what kind of characters are allowed and remember to check for availability.
You may claim an open character by posting an application in their name, but if you don’t make anything of it staff may delete it so that another player may have a chance at it.
Mods will figure out fairly quickly that there is a new application on the joining board. Reviewing and approving a character may take from an hour up to a couple of days. If you have insufficient info on your app, we will let you know so that you can edit it. There’s no need to PM the mods about an unapproved app unless it has been neglected for too long.
3. Wait for your character to get approved before you start posting as him/her. In the meantime, you are welcome to post on the OOC boards.
4. Roleplay. Have fun!
Remember that you have to play your first character actively before you claim a second one. If the mods feel that you have not roleplayed enough or have too many characters to handle, you may be asked to withdraw your application or wait in order to get approved.
You can drop characters you don't want any longer, but don't make a habit out of claiming and dropping new characters.
