Sorry it took me so long to respond with Luna guys - she's finally given each of the ponies a job to do to help deal with what's happening with Eclipse. If you have any questions about what she's asked your character to do, please let me know. We can bounce ideas around and come up with something fun (I know she didn't give Rarity and Pinkie much to go on )

Am I the only one of the main six still around right now? That's kinda depressing ^^"

Yah ... um. I posted in the Eventide ad thread in DWOW some time back, but I'm not sure if people are bothered to come over here. I hope it doesn't come to re-adopting the mane six. Even so, it's not like there's someone else who can play them atm.

It is kinda depressing that the others have seemed to already drop off. I could pick up a character as I have space, but maybe we should wait a little while on them? There should at least be an acceptable duration of inactivity (I don't remember if you guys posted that up somewhere) -- perhaps something like post once a week, if disappearing let the admins know, and that characters will be re-adopted if no activity or contact made within a month or so since last post.

We don't actually have rules against inactivity. I hate making people feel obliged to roleplay. I had hoped that giving out important characters would motivate enough. I think a time limit would discourage people from playing. Maybe that's the problem already? The site may seem strict with a wall of rules, but I always preferred playing on those boards because everyone knew what, why and how. And you don't actually need to know every little rule if you just use common sense and have a sense of etiquette. I'm here if anything is unclear. DWOW has a monthly role call. If I remember correctly, C03 had roll calls when it was necessary, not nearly as often.

Fair enough. Besides this is meant to be just a hobby so there shouldn't be pressure to sap out the fun. The rules of this game are actually very lax and straight forward (common-sense as you say), so you'd think that'd make for an easy-going environment. But there's a chance that people may take that as a chance to drift off for ages. That's acceptable as rl does get in the way, but it's hard to determine who is still with the game or who has lost interest entirely. Maybe roll-calls would be the way to go. It doesn't demand on activity, but just a shout out to see who's still with us. Hopefully, if they realize they don't have time/interest for the game, they'll let you know and relinquish hold on a main character to make available for new players keen to join in. The new problem with that though is the mane 6 jumping from member to member, but hey that could be interesting to see how new players adapt the former history of their new character. (if there is former history lol)
